What the existing site guidance says
Consider labour supply/demand, skills shortages, technology, economic conditions and workforce choices.
How to approach the task
Start with the command word and make sure every part of the question is answered. Use the case or workplace context where the brief requires application. Distinguish explanation from analysis, assessment and evaluation: higher-order verbs require reasoning about relationships, implications, alternatives or judgement rather than a list of facts.
- Define or frame the key concept where needed.
- Use relevant evidence to support substantive claims.
- Apply the discussion to the organisation, case or workplace context.
- Address limitations, risks or alternative perspectives when the command verb requires them.
- End with a clear, justified conclusion where a judgement is required.
